Supplementary Terms
1. Subscriptions and free features
Some features require a paid subscription purchased through Apple’s App Store, as described in section 6 of the Terms of Service. Access to paid features depends on an active subscription that the app can verify; the Restore Purchases action restores eligible purchases on a new device or after reinstalling.
If the App Store purchase screen shows an introductory offer or free trial, its length, price, and conversion terms are those shown there. Features that are free today may become part of a subscription, or subscription features may change, with the notice described in the Terms.
2. Cloud sync and local-only mode
Cloud sync requires an account, a signed-in session, and a network connection. Changes made offline are stored on your device and synchronized when a connection is available. Where the same record is changed on two devices before they sync, the later change may replace the earlier one.
In local-only mode your records stay on your device and are not synchronized or stored in the cloud. You are responsible for keeping your own backups in that mode; if the device is lost, reset, or the app is removed, we cannot recover local-only data.
3. Backups, imports, and exports
The app lets you create backup files and exports of your records and import data from files. You may only import material you have the right to use. We do not check imported data for accuracy, and exported files are outside the Service once created, so store and share them carefully. Backups made by you do not replace the cloud copy or the retention described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In
Signing in with Apple or Google is subject to those companies’ terms. We never receive your Apple or Google password. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email option, we receive a relay address rather than your real one, and Apple controls whether mail through that relay reaches you. If you revoke the app’s access in your Apple or Google account settings, you may be unable to sign in until you sign in again or use another method.
5. Weather information
Weather forecasts come from Open-Meteo for a location you enter or select yourself; the app does not use device GPS. Forecasts are general information and can be wrong or late. Do not rely on them for safety decisions, transport, spraying, or other operational choices without checking an authoritative source, as section 9 of the Terms of Service also explains.
6. Reminders and notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device and depend on your device settings, battery and notification permissions, and the app being installed. They are a convenience, not a guarantee: keep your own record of withdrawal periods, veterinary schedules, and regulatory deadlines.
7. Pre-release and TestFlight builds
If you install a pre-release build through Apple’s TestFlight or another test channel, it may be unfinished, unstable, or changed or withdrawn at any time, and data created in a test build may not carry over to a released version. Apple’s TestFlight terms also apply. We may ask for feedback on test builds; please do not use them for records you cannot afford to lose.
8. Devices and updates
The app requires a supported version of iOS. We may release updates that change features, fix problems, or are needed to keep sync and sign-in working, and older versions of the app may stop working with the Service over time. Some features also depend on device capabilities such as a camera or photo library access that you choose to grant.
9. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, we may use them without any obligation to you, and you agree that doing so does not give you any right in the Service or in what we build from them.
